France has hundreds of accredited centers for the TEF and TCF across all regions. Major cities (Paris, Lyon, Marseille, Toulouse, Bordeaux, Lille) offer the most frequent sessions, sometimes several times per month. Medium-sized cities typically offer monthly sessions.
Finding a TEF Center
TEF centers are managed by CCI Paris Île-de-France. Use the search engine on the official TEF website to locate the nearest center. Alliances Françaises and some universities are often exam centers.
Finding a TCF Center
TCF centers are accredited by France Éducation International. The complete list is available on their website. CIEP centers, universities and language institutes are the most common testing locations.
Tips for Choosing Your Center
Book several weeks in advance, especially in major cities where spots fill up quickly. Make sure the center offers the specific test version you need (IRN, naturalization, Canada). If demand is high, consider expanding your search to nearby cities.
